WELD COUNTY — Two people died Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on Colorado 392 just east of Weld County Road 21, northwest of Greeley.
The Colorado State Patrol said an eastbound Ford truck tried to pass another vehicle. The truck entered a westbound lane and struck a Suzuki.
The sedan’s driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities did not identify them.
The unidentified driver of the truck was taken by helicopter to Medical Center of the Rockies with serious injuries.
