Frontier Airlines said Wednesday it will allow buyers of economy tickets to book seat assignments at the time of purchase.
Previously, advance seat assignments were available only for buyers of higher-fare tickets. Frontier also will drop the fee for same-day ticket changes from $100 to $50 and will eliminate a $25 charge for reservations made through call centers or at ticket counters.
