Police say a babysitter bonded out from jail after being arrested for injuring a 5-month-old infant girl he was watching on Tuesday.
Investigators say they were called to a house at 14th and Clarkson on June 1 about the injured infant.
Police arrested 25-year-old Charles Wheeler. Police say charges are pending in the case.
Investigators say the infant was taken to Denver Health with serious injuries.
Police and social services are investigating the incident.
Police say Wheeler will appear in court on June 16.
