Jefferson County-based Ur-Energy Inc. has received approval from the Wyoming state engineer’s office for the construction and operation of wastewater retention ponds for its Lost Creek In-situ Recovery uranium project in Sweetwater County.
The engineer’s office finalized its approval of the holding pond designs May 28 and authorized Ur-Energy to construct and operate two water holding ponds at the Lost Creek site.
