Shots fired from inside a car late last night in southwest Denver hit one man in the face and another man in the chest, police said.
The double shooting happened at about 11:35 p.m. near the intersection of South Sheridan Boulevard and West Harvard Avenue, according to a Denver Police Department media release.
A man called police to tell them his friend had been shot and when officers arrived they found two victims.
Both were taken to Denver Health Medical Center. Further details on their injuries were not available.
Police said the two men were walking in the area when a car pulled up beside them and an argument between the pedestrians and people in the car ensued.
During the argument shots were fired from inside the car, which is described as a white two-door.
