A Regional Transportation District shuttle driver who hit a cyclist on the 16th Street Mall on Sunday has been ticketed for careless driving resulting in serious bodily injury, according to Denver police.
The 72-year-old cyclist was taken Sunday night to Denver Health Medical Center with a “severe injury to his leg,” according to police. Further details on his injuries were not available Tuesday.
