BOULDER — A Boulder County grand jury has handed down a 127-count indictment against 17 people who prosecutors say were involved in a major drug ring supplying cocaine and methamphetamine in the Longmont area.

The investigation included numerous drug purchases by undercover police officers and the use of phone surveillance, according to the indictment.

Those facing charges of possession and distribution of controlled substances, conspiracy and theft are: Alyssa Kurtz, 24, James Romero, 25, Aaron Waddell, 39, Mary Moritz, 47, Michelle Grube, 43, Tristan Jackson, 35, Bonnie Miller, 23, Eddy Peter, 40, David Smith, 50, Sue Romo, 48, Robert Heblinger, 41, Deeann Heblinger, 37, James Vester, 23, Nicholas Montano, 25, Dustin Zavala, 22, Kerri McKelvy, 30, and Robert Gutierrez, 32.
