Hungry for spaghetti?
Saute garden-grown garlic in olive oil, toss in a bunch of chopped tomatoes from the garden, sprinkle it with fresh basil, and you’ve got a meal. Once the harvest season arrives, though, the tomatoes will keep coming. And coming. Ditto for everything else. You probably can’t just eat it all fresh. So preserve your veggies. Colorado State Extension does an outstanding job teaching people how to extend their harvest from August all the way until the following harvest. Here’s a good place to start.
