The coach at Valor Christian High School, Preeo was even at the turn (bogey on No. 3, birdie on No. 7) but then bogeyed Nos. 10, 11, 17 and 18. He hit just eight of 18 greens but needed just 30 putts.
Preeo tees off today at 10:01 a.m. MDT. The cut after today’s round is the top 60 scores and ties or anyone within 10 strokes of the leader.
