A fire at a home in Colorado Springs was started by a 3-year-old, fire investigators have determined.
Firefighters were called to the home at the 1300 block of Hamstead Court around 12:30 Friday afternoon. About 30 firefighters went to the scene, and it took more than half an hour to control the blaze.
The 3-year-old was playing with a lighter and a candle, the Colorado Springs Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported. A cat is still missing, but may not have been inside the home, officials said.
