KIOWA — Hundreds of people paid tribute Saturday afternoon to a Kiowa High School teacher found dead Monday in an Elbert County field.
The funeral service for Randy Wilson was held at the Kiowa High School gym, 9News reported.
Former students, neighbors, and members of the sheriff’s and fire departments showed up to pay their respects.
Wilson, 52, was found dead in a field near County Road 194 and County Road 53 in Elbert County after a driver spotted his body, according to the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators are calling his death suspicious.
