A body that had washed close to the shore was recovered Tuesday afternoon in the Cache La Poudre River on Hemlock Street in northern Fort Collins.
“The body is consistent so far with the missing person we have from a few weeks ago, but we can’t say for sure,” said a spokeswoman for the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
Brandon Bowie disappeared on the river May 30 when he fell from an inner tube near Picnic Rock in Larimer County.
Bowie was not wearing a life preserver, according to the sheriff.
