Rep. Kathleen Curry, the legislature’s lone unaffiliated lawmaker, will not be on the November ballot, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.
However, Curry can still seek re-election through a write-in campaign.
Curry, of Gunnison, had been a Democrat but changed to unaffiliated in December. The law, however, says a person must have been registered as unaffiliated for 12 months before being able to petition to get on the general election ballot.
