Pueblo’s Bessemer community, an integral part of the Colorado Fuel & Iron company’s workforce, celebrates its 125th anniversary next year. CF&I’s archives and museum staff are looking for images — recent as well as historic — of steelworkers on the job, at bars and diners, and for images of their wives and children. Donate original photos or have photos scanned into the CF&I Archives’ database.

This nonprofit organization rescues and rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife, including songbirds, owls, squirrels, foxes, raccoons and other critters. Its new Summer Sponsorship Program offers three ($10 to $30) ways to help provide food, bedding and medical care to a bird or animal. Tax-deductible.
