Golden police are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body in Clear Creek.
The unidentified body was found by a passer-by about 8:25 p.m. Monday near Lions Park in the 1300 block of 10th Street, said Sgt. Ryan Custer, a Police Department spokesman.
Members of the Golden Fire Department and the Golden Police Department pulled the body from the water.
The Jefferson County coroner’s office was scheduled to perform an autopsy Tuesday.
