RAPID CITY, S.D.—Frontier Airlines is pulling out of Rapid City.
Spokeswoman Lindsey Purves (PUR’-vuhs) on Thursday said the airline would discontinue flights between Rapid City and Denver effective Sept. 7.
She said Rapid City has not been a successful market for the airline. It competes there with United, which also flies to and from Denver.
Frontier does not provide service in any other South Dakota city.
