DENVER—Colorado Democratic Sen. Mark Udall says he will vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan.
Udall said Friday Kagan is well qualified for the position.
He says Kagan’s answers during Senate Judiciary Committee hearings showed she has the temperament, experience, pragmatism and ability required for the job.
President Barack Obama nominated Kagan to succeed retiring Justice John Paul Stevens.
