The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death Thursday of a 3-year-old girl.
The sheriff’s office said in a press release that Alexis McClain had been taken to The Children’s Hospital in Aurora on Thursday and was pronounced dead on Friday.
The sheriff’s office, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the 13th Judicial District Attorney’s office are investigating the death. The sheriff’s office plans to release more details on Monday.
