From 6-9 p.m. 10 of the city’s best burger makers will compete in the first-ever Denver Burger Battle.
One ticket gets you into the event on Wynkoop Street in Lodo — you taste the goods and vote for the best. Participating burger hawkers: Argyll Gastropub, Cherry Cricket, Colt & Gray, Deluxe Burger, Encore, H-Burger, Old School, Park Burger, Steubens and Walk-In Burger.
Two prizes will be awarded: People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice, chosen by a panel of local celebrity chefs including James Rugile of Venue, Troy Guard of TAG and Alex Seidel of Fruition.
Tickets are $45 and include unlimited beer (courtesy Odell and Great Divide) to wash it all down. And here’s the best part of all: Proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado.
