A 3-year-old fell from a two story window in Commerce City at around 12:30 today.
Commerce City police found the young boy conscious on the ground outside the apartment at 13995 East 107th Avenue. The child was transported to the hospital in stable condition, “with just a cut on his head,” police spokesman, Christian Rasmussen said. She expects the boy will be fine.
Commerce City police said in a statement that it appears the child was jumping on a bed near an open window and accidentally fell through the screen.
The child was being supervised at the time, and an investigation is ongoing.
Rasmussen said police are not planning to file charges at this time.
