CHICAGO — The judge overseeing the Drew Peterson case has ruled the former Bolingbrook police sergeant likely murdered his third and fourth wives but found that only five of the 13 hearsay sources prosecutors hoped to admit at trial could be used, according to a copy of the sealed ruling obtained by the Chicago Tribune. Peterson’s murder trial is on hold while prosecutors appeal Judge Stephen White’s ruling.
