One person is dead and another seriously injured after they were thrown from their motorcycle today while driving on Interstate 270.
Neither of the victims was wearing a helmet.
The incident occured at about 1 p.m. when the motorcycle was on the exit ramp heading to U.S. 85 and lost control, throwing both riders from the bike.
Commerce City Police said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
The accident is still under investigation. The names of the victims are not being released until relatives are notified.
