COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—The Colorado Rapids have bolstered their defense by acquiring Anthony Wallace in a deal with FC Dallas, giving up a fourth-round pick in the 2011 draft and a conditional pick in 2012.
The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Wallace was a first-round pick by FC Dallas in 2007 and appeared in 15 games.
The Rapids are tied for fourth place in the Western Conference and play third-place FC Dallas on Saturday.
