DENVER—The Colorado Rockies have claimed infielder Wes Hodges off waivers from the Cleveland Indians and optioned him to Triple-A Colorado Springs.
The 25-year-old Hodges has spent the entire season at Triple-A Columbus, where he hit .270 with nine home runs and 47 RBIs.
The Rockies also transferred reliever Matt Daley from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list.
