Boulder Police have arrested two suspects after a shooting early Sunday morning outside the a Boulder hotel.
The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. at the Boulder Inn, 555 30th St, authorities said.
Friends drove a 19-year-old wounded man to a fire station after he was shot in the leg.
He was then transported to Boulder Community Hospital. The man’s injury is not life-threatening.
Boulder County Sheriff’s deputies spotted a vehicle that fled the area on U.S. 36 at Flatirons Crossing. The two men in the vehicle were confirmed to be the suspects in the shooting, and are now in custody.
Both suspects, Benjamin C. Roberts, 19, and Aaron R. Johnson, 20, are being charged with attempted first degree murder, and first degree assault.
Roberts is also being charged with possession of weapons by a previous offender. Johnson’s birthday was on Saturday.
No further information is being released pending a full investigation.
