DENVER—The Colorado Avalanche are gearing up for training camp, with the rookies set to report Sept. 12.
Veterans are scheduled for physicals Sept. 17. The rookies will have on-ice practice Sept. 14-16.
The team plans on-ice practice and scrimmage sessions from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 18 and 19 at the Family Sports Center in Centennial. The sessions will be open to the public.
The Burgundy-White intrasquad game will be Sept. 20 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield. Colorado then opens its six-game exhibition season Sept. 21 at St. Louis.
