A search for a 24-year-old woman after her purse and cellphone were found on the bank of a pond near her home in Jefferson County turned up a body in the water, but authorities weren’t ready to say it’s that of the missing woman.
The 4-acre pond is part of the Massey Draw drainage area adjacent to the Wingate South subdivision, west of South Wadsworth Boulevard and north of C-470 near Littleton.
