DENVER—Highway crews are cleaning up after heavy rains that caused flooding and mud slides in parts of Colorado.

Two mud slides hit Colorado 133 12 miles south of Carbondale and only one lane was open to alternating traffic Friday morning. The other lane is expected to be open by the afternoon.

A mud slide also covered Colorado 82 near Carbondale on Thursday but that highway is back open.

Another mud slide a few inches deep in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near Dotsero has also been cleared.
