A ranch-style home in Littleton was heavily damaged by fire late Monday night, but the two occupants, plus a cat, escaped, according to Littleton Fire Rescue.
Operations Division Chief Roland Seno said the house in the 1200 block of West Caley Avenue was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
Seno said that a woman living in the home said something woke her and when she got up she smelled smoke. Seno said that a neighbor helped one of the occupants escape through a window.
