One man is dead and another has been hospitalized from possible carbon monoxide poisoning in Park County, authorities said today.
The Park County Sheriff’s office received a call at 12:13 p.m. about two men who were unconscious in a motor home in the South Shore area of Antero Reservoir.
One man was pronounced dead at 12:51 p.m. and the other was airlifted to St. Anthony Central.
“It is believed the men suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning,” the sheriff’s office said in a release.
The names of the men are being withheld until family members can be notified. The incident remains under investigation.
