ARVADA — Arvada police arrested a suspect Sunday afternoon in the killing of a 54-year-old man Friday night.
David Paul Arledge, 32, is being held at the Jefferson County jail without bail. He is facing a charge of first-degree murder, police said.
Detectives continue to investigate the homicide in the 6700 block of Depew Street. Police were called to the home on a report of shots fired just after 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s name.
According to a news release from Arvada police, Arledge and the victim knew each other, but their relationship was unclear.
