The summer Dew Tour makes its stop in Salt Lake City this weekend. If you’re up for the 500-mile drive from Denver, there will be quite a field to see — including Olympic star Shaun White, who will be in the skateboard vert. He showed up and surprised riders last month at the Dew Tour stop in Portland, Ore., and wound up winning. After that event, he said he would appear in Salt Lake City. He owns a house in nearby Park City, Utah.
Salt Lake City’s tour stop, which includes BMX, skateboard and freestyle motocross events, is Thursday through Sunday at EnergySolutions Arena. In the skateboard vert, prelims are Friday and the finals are Sunday.
