Among the dead in the San Bruno explosion was the grandmother of a Thornton man.
Frank Torres said his 81-year-old grandmother, Elizabeth Torres, was killed in the blast. He said his mother, aunt and uncle were seriously hurt and remained hospitalized with burns. The coroner has not confirmed that Torres was among the dead. The Associated Press
