DENVER—Police say a man in a small crowd watching a juggler at a Denver park was shot and is intensive care at a hospital.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson says the man is expected to survive the Sunday night shooting. His name was not released. Jackson says the man was among a group of people watching a juggler perform near downtown Denver when a blonde, heavyset man approached and shot him.
Jackson says the suspect ran away and got into a white Chevy Suburban SUV.
The Denver Post reports that police have not released a motive for the shooting.
