DENVER—A Denver jury convicted a 27-year-old woman of killing a woman by running over her with a car in a Burger King parking lot.

Nadine Montoya faces life in prison without parole when she is sentenced later this year after being convicted Tuesday of first-degree murder, vehicular homicide and other charges. Jurors deliberated for less than a day.

Prosecutors say Montoya used her car to hit 49-year-old Lilian Verdonkschot after a confrontation at a Burger King drive-through on May 2009.

Police say Montoya drove away and later surrendered to police.
