A Greeley man, a convicted drug dealer who was found to be a “habitual criminal,” was sentenced to 96 years in prison.

Alfred Lawrence Montano, 49, was sentenced Friday after being convicted by a jury on Sept. 1, according to a Weld County District Attorney’s Office media release.

Montano, who had “multiple prior convictions for possession of a controlled substance,” was found to be a habitual criminal and received an extended sentence, the DA’s Office said.
