Near the end of his headlining set on Oct. 8 at the , stopped the show and said, “Jeff Ferk, this is your moment.” Rateliff and his band then played “Shroud” as Ferk got down on one knee and presented a surprised Jaclyn Broesel with a ring. “Shroud” is her favorite song.
And by the way, she said yes. Even though, in the heat of the moment, Ferk forgot to actually pop the question. That’s OK, though. “I read his mind,” she said.
