AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—The Air Force Academy has decided to release more of the results from a survey of cadets’ attitudes following calls to make them public.

The Gazette in Colorado Springs reports that Superintendent Lt. Gen. Michael Gould has scheduled a news conference Oct. 29 to discuss the survey results.

The academy released a summary of findings in August but Gould declined to release details. He has said he could do a better job correcting problems and building on progress by working with the results internally rather than by making them public.

Details of previous surveys were disclosed.

Colorado congressman Mike Coffman has called on the academy to release details of the latest survey. The Associated Press and others have sought the results under the Freedom of Information Act.
