DENVER—Federal campaign filings show Democratic Senate incumbent Michael Bennet has far outraised Republican challenger Ken Buck but the GOP candidate has more cash on hand in the final weeks before the election.

Campaign finance filings show Bennet raised $2.7 million in the third quarter that just ended and he has raised a total of $10.4 million in the race to keep his seat. Buck raised $2.1 million in the third quarter and his fundraising total for the race is $3.4 million.

But The Denver Post reports that Buck has more money on hand as Election Day nears. Buck had $1.4 million as of Sept. 30, while Bennet had $1 million.
