LAKEWOOD — One person died and three people were injured Monday in a rollover crash in Lakewood.
The crash happened about 2:05 p.m. near C-470 and the West Alameda Parkway, said Steve Davis, a Lakewood Police Department spokesman.
The vehicle that crashed apparently hit another vehicle before rolling off the highway and down an embankment.
One man died at the scene and another man was taken to St. Anthony Central Hospital, according to the West Metro Fire Protection District.
A child between the ages of 8 and 14 was taken by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Aurora.
One person in the second car was taken by ambulance to Littleton Adventist Hospital, according to a West Metro media release.
