DENVER—A 19-year-old man is accused of forcing two teenagers to work as prostitutes by advertising on Craigslist for clients in the Denver and Lakewood areas.
Colorado Attorney General John Suthers said Monday that Dallas Colby Cardenas has been indicted on suspicion of trafficking, pimping, pandering of a child and inducement of child prostitution.
A state grand jury has also indicted 23-year-old Ryan Keith Jenkins on suspicion of conspiracy to commit pimping and drug possession.
Cardenas is accused of forcing a 17-year-old female and 18-year-old female to pose for photos in ads on Craigslist and have sex with people.
Suthers’ spokesman, Mike Saccone (suh-coh-knee), tells The Denver Post that Cardenas is being held on $10,000 bond. Jenkins hasn’t been arrested yet.
