We’re barely past Halloween and already it seems the Grinch is at work.
The owners of a Christmas tree lot in Denver say thieves took their trailer Sunday night. The space on Santa Fe near Broadway, is transformed every year into a festive place for buying Christmas trees with the contents of that trailer, everything from drills, to chain saws, lights and memorabilia, like a 1966 red wagon.
The owners say they put up thousands of dollars in lights and other decorations every year, and play holiday music. They say the kids love to run through the trees, and it’s an annual tradition for many.
