COLORADO SPRINGS — Some in El Paso County want a do-over on ballot measures extending term limits for most elected county officials.
Commissioner-elect Darryl Glenn tells The Gazette in Colorado Springs that the three questions could have been worded better. He plans a public meeting in January to determine whether people feel misled by the measures.
The proposals, to lengthen from two to three consecutive terms the 4th Judicial District Attorney, El Paso County commissioners and the county treasurer, assessor, surveyor, and clerk and recorder, all passed with more than 60 percent of the vote.
