The Chain Gang of 1974 + Law & Order

got their first taste of television on CW’s hit, “Gossip Girl” a couple of weeks ago, and now they’ve moved on up to a major network. NBC’s “Law & Order” is the latest to showcase their music and if you watch at the 7:54 mark, you can hear the track, “Devil is a Lady.” Too bad Ice-T wasn’t in the scene. Look for TCGO 1974 to share the stage with at the June 11.

Beta April recap

We at Reverb feel inclined to give the crew a strong B+. We feel that some nights were a little light in the smoke and lights department, but, yeah, keep on keepin’ on, guys.

Listen to Force Publique’s latest single

is on pace to release as much as Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Ryan Adams or Frank Zappa if they continue churning stuff out at this rate. Check out their latest cut below that borders on depressing and self-loathing, in a good way of course.
