All lanes of southbound Santa Fe Drive between County Line Road and C-470 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. for work related to the new flyover.
Tomorrow night the northbound lanes will be closed in the same locations for same times, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.
The closures are needed to realign Santa Fe. “The double left turn lane from southbound Santa Fe to eastbound C-470 will be reduced from two lanes” to one lane, the release said. “At the same time an additional left turn lane will be added from northbound Santa Fe to westbound C-470.”
CDOT says the new configuration will be in place until the flyover from southbound Santa Fe to eastbound C-470 opens in late summer/early fall 2011.
