Northeast and north-central Colorado will see scattered sunshine, slight chances of precipitation, and a modest warming trend over the next few days, according to projections from the National Weather Service.
Tonight’s forecast calls for clouds with lows in the mid-to-high 20s, but the coldest part of the weekend is already over. Sunday is looking to be partly sunny with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s.
Looking ahead to next week, the Weather Service projects highs in the mid-to-high 40s for Monday with lows in the high 20s or low 30s, with a possibility of rain in the afternoon and snow at night. Tuesday will start a warming trend with highs in the 50s and Wednesday could see daytime temperatures as high as 60, the Weather Service projects.
This forecast continues a mild winter for the area. On Friday, temperatures at Denver International Airport reached 69, tying the record set in 1885.
