Age: 17. Born: June 22, 1993, in Boulder.

High school sports: Basketball (guard, 2010 Class 4A all-state first team by The Denver Post) and soccer.

Grade-point average: 4.0.

Class: Senior.

My favorite subject: Philosophy.

My favorite athlete: Rajon Rondo.

My favorite team: Boston Celtics.

What I listen to: Hip-hop, R&B and a tiny bit of rock.

The best things on my training table: Power bars and my mom’s banana bread.

Pregame ritual: I’m really superstitious. I do 13 push-ups (my jersey number) before every game, and when running out for the game, I have to touch two hands on the top of the doorway.

Time management tip: I think you get as much done with your friends as you can because it makes it go faster.

Planned career: Biophysics major to get into medical school; signed to play basketball at the University of San Francisco.

My family: Parents Patty Fahy and Bruce Katuna, sister Cory Katuna.

I would love to visit: Japan.

What high school sports mean to me: Of course, I love high school sports. It’s where you meet all of your best friends you spend all your time with; it’s your second family. It’s a competitive atmosphere where you win and lose with the people you love to be around, and it’s awesome. We’re all competitive, we all love to compete. And I like the school and city involvement. People like sports and get involved with them.
