FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Coloradoan President and Publisher Kim Wilson has left the Fort Collins newspaper, and Executive Editor Robert Moore has been named interim publisher.

The announcement was made Friday by Steve Silberman, regional vice president for Gannett Co. Inc., the paper’s owner. Silberman didn’t say why Wilson was leaving, and The Coloradoan reports that Wilson declined to comment.

Wilson was president and publisher of the Colorado Media Group since June 2008. The group publishes the Coloradoan, Windsor Beacon and Loveland Connection.

The 50-year-old Moore will serve as both publisher and executive editor until a permanent publisher is named. He has been executive editor since 2005.
