BRIGHTON, Colo.—A Denver woman authorities say was drunk when she drove the wrong way on Interstate 25 has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and other charges in a fatal crash.

The Denver Post reports that Elizabeth “Betsy” Jane Long pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, leaving the scene of an accident and drunken driving.

She faces up to 24 years in prison on one of the vehicular homicide counts alone when she’s sentenced Feb. 22.

Authorities say Long was driving the wrong way on I-25 July 5 when she crashed into a car carrying 22-year-old Mary Warren of Fort Collins, who died at the scene.

Investigators say Long’s blood alcohol levels were three times over the legal limit for driving.
