LARAMIE, Wyo.—Wyoming will be adding two regional opponents to its future men’s basketball schedules.

UW will renew its series with Colorado beginning in the 2011-12 season with a four-game series that will see the Cowboys and Buffaloes play once a year for four consecutive seasons. Two of the four games will be played in Laramie.

The first game of the Wyoming-Colorado series will be played next season in Boulder.

The Wyoming-Colorado series dates back to Jan. 13, 1908. The two schools have played a total of 73 times through the years, but they haven’t played the past three seasons.

The Cowboys also announced a new two-year deal to face Northern Colorado, also beginning with the 2011-12 season.

The home-and-home series will begin in Laramie next season.
